Charles Aznavour
Charles Aznavour (born Shahnour Vaghinag Aznavourian, 1924–2018) was a world-renowned French-Armenian singer, songwriter, and actor. He wrote over 1,200 songs and sold more than 180 million records globally. Aznavour proudly represented Armenian identity and was a strong advocate for the recognition of the Armenian Genocide. He also stood out for his humanitarian work, especially after the 1988 earthquake in Armenia. His legacy bridges music, film, and social justice.
